Providing Cayman’s young people with music and arts education opportunities is a vital element of all Cayman Arts Festivals.
In addition to the youth focus of A Big Song and Dance, for Festival 2012 these will include:
- Wednesday 8 February - free Schools Concert by Canadian Brass
- Friday 10 February – Jazz workshop for high school bands, with Juilliard Jazz Ensemble
- Friday 10 February – Interactive steel pan workshop between Juilliard Jazz Ensemble and UCCI pan group
UCCI Choir rehearsal lead by Juilliard Jazz Ensemble and performance for Blues in the Church - Wednesday 15 February – Workshop for Cayman’s string players with the Ahn Trio
