Music Bazaar

On Saturday, May 19th, Cayman Arts Festival (CAF) proudly present "Music Bazaar"! Music Bazaar is a fundraising event that will help our not-for-profit entity to continue to support our various initiatives and programmes.

CAF is excited to be able to present this ground-breaking concert which will be the first of its kind, and where CAF will be able to showcase all students who are currently enrolled in its afterschool programmes.

After four years of intensive work, our teachers, and over 100 students are ready to perform to a high standard. The audience will be entertained by the CAF Jazz Quartet, Greenlight Double String Quartet, RBC DS String Group, the Cayman Youth Choir, Butterfield Musician of the Year finalist - Jayden Hanna (soloist), 2017 Luzerne Music scholarship recipient and Butterfield Musician of the Year finalist - Dequan Smith (cellist), and two of the most outstanding young pianists on island - Mark Plowright and Cameron Gilson.

For the second half of the evening, longstanding friends of CAF will come out to support us and to continue the entertainment for the evening - renowned pianists Glen Inanga and Allie Cortens, Louise Spencer - soprano, Arek Nicholson - tenor and Lauren Knuckey - clarinetist.
